Conformada por patios, juegos de pelota, talleres de obsidiana, templos, calzadas y calles amuralladas, la ciudad fue concebida como una fortaleza ante los conflictos e invasiones que marcaron su historia.<\/p>\n<p>Las edificaciones de Cantona dan cuenta de un alto grado de organizaci\u00f3n social y econ\u00f3mica, que propici\u00f3 un desarrollo aut\u00f3nomo, distinto al de otras ciudades contempor\u00e1neas.<\/p>\n<p>Como ciudad est\u00e1 organizada en una serie de unidades habitacionales agrupadas, donde los espacios se encuentran uno detr\u00e1s de otro.<\/p>\n<p>La Zona Arqueol\u00f3gica de Cantona no solo es un destino tur\u00edstico, tambi\u00e9n es un espacio de aprendizaje y apreciaci\u00f3n de la herencia prehisp\u00e1nica de M\u00e9xico.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>La Zona Arqueol\u00f3gica de Cantona fue inaugurada el 13 de octubre de 1994, hace tres d\u00e9cadas.
