{"id":25166,"date":"2024-10-04T11:23:50","date_gmt":"2024-10-04T17:23:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thepueblatimes.mx\/?p=25166"},"modified":"2024-10-04T11:23:50","modified_gmt":"2024-10-04T17:23:50","slug":"la-proclamacion-de-huejotzingo","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thepueblatimes.mx\/index.php\/2024\/10\/04\/la-proclamacion-de-huejotzingo\/","title":{"rendered":"La Proclamaci\u00f3n de Huejotzingo"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>POR FRED ESTRADA<\/p>\n<p>El gobierno de M\u00e9xico recuperado de una subasta en Estados Unidos, la Proclamaci\u00f3n de Huejotzingo, un valioso documento cultural e hist\u00f3rico.<\/p>\n<p>De acuerdo con el Ayuntamiento, ese documento, escrito en n\u00e1huatl y plasmado en vitela, est\u00e1 firmado por Fray Juan de Alameda, quien supervis\u00f3 la construcci\u00f3n del Convento en Huejotzingo entre 1544 y 1570.<\/p>\n<p>Es considerado como una fuente fundamental para el estudio de M\u00e9xico durante el per\u00edodo colonial temprano y fue publicado dos d\u00e9cadas despu\u00e9s del C\u00f3dice Huexotzinco.<\/p>\n<p>Los documentos del siglo XVI en n\u00e1huatl son escasos fuera de instituciones p\u00fablicas, y este ejemplar, que anteriormente formaba parte de la Colecci\u00f3n Honeyman, es probablemente el m\u00e1s antiguo ofrecido en subasta.<\/p>\n<p>El pueblo ind\u00edgena nahua de Huejotzingo se uni\u00f3 al conquistador espa\u00f1ol Hern\u00e1n Cort\u00e9s en 1521 para luchar contra Moctezuma, l\u00edder del Imperio Azteca. Desde entonces, la regi\u00f3n fue gobernada por la Corona Espa\u00f1ola, y sus habitantes fueron incorporados al sistema de encomiendas. El C\u00f3dice Huexotzinco, escrito en 1531, documenta un caso legal contra abusos de este sistema colonial.<\/p>\n<p>Al igual que el C\u00f3dice de Huexotzinco y otros registros administrativos de la \u00e9poca, el documento est\u00e1 redactado en una versi\u00f3n latinizada del n\u00e1huatl, desarrollada tras la introducci\u00f3n del alfabeto latino por los colonizadores y misioneros espa\u00f1oles.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>POR FRED ESTRADA El gobierno de M\u00e9xico recuperado de una subasta en Estados Unidos, la Proclamaci\u00f3n de Huejotzingo, un valioso documento cultural e hist\u00f3rico.
