El Decreto fue publicado en el Diario Oficial de la Federaci\u00f3n (DOF) el 27 de septiembre de 2024.<\/p>\n<p>El Decreto relativo a la Secretar\u00eda de Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales (Semarnat), indica que \u201cSe declara \u00e1rea natural protegida, con la categor\u00eda de \u00e1rea de protecci\u00f3n de recursos naturales el sitio Kowtahyolo, que de acuerdo con el \u00abMarco Geoestad\u00edstico, diciembre de 2023\u00bb del Instituto Nacional de Estad\u00edstica y Geograf\u00eda, se ubica en el municipio de Cuetzalan del Progreso, en el estado de Puebla, con una superficie total de 1,732-99-34.42 hect\u00e1reas (mil setecientas treinta y dos hect\u00e1reas, noventa y nueve \u00e1reas, treinta y cuatro punto cuarenta y dos centi\u00e1reas)\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLa descripci\u00f3n lim\u00edtrofe del pol\u00edgono que conforma el \u00e1rea de protecci\u00f3n de recursos naturales Kowtahyolo, se encuentra en un sistema de coordenadas proyectadas en Universal Transversa de Mercator (UTM) Zona 14 norte, con Elipsoide GRS80 y Datum Horizontal ITRF08 \u00e9poca 2010.0\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>La Semarnat debe proteger, administrar, manejar, preservar y restaurar los ecosistemas y los elementos del \u00e1rea de protecci\u00f3n de recursos naturales Kowtahyolo, as\u00ed como vigilar que las acciones que se realicen dentro de esta se ajusten a los prop\u00f3sitos de la Ley General del Equilibrio Ecol\u00f3gico y la Protecci\u00f3n al Ambiente, de su reglamento en materia de \u00e1reas naturales protegidas, del presente decreto y dem\u00e1s disposiciones jur\u00eddicas aplicables.<\/p>\n<p>Indica las actividades que podr\u00e1n realizarse en el \u00e1rea, como: Preservaci\u00f3n y conservaci\u00f3n de los ecosistemas y sus elementos; Investigaci\u00f3n y colecta cient\u00edficas; Monitoreo del ambiente; Educaci\u00f3n ambiental; y Turismo de bajo impacto ambiental.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Puebla tiene una nueva \u00c1rea Natural Protegida, Kowtahyolo en Cuetzalan del Progreso.
